The lights turned off. I was the last one to leave the office. I was late. I had to catch the last bus of I would miss the party. Automobiles passing as I trot down to the bus stop. It's the only party in town. The whole city, bustling and booming but all silent on just this night. The party at Gatsby's. Trumpets blaring. Horns blasting. Everyone. All walks of life.
